Taqriz Said I Should Write About Meritrocracy. Hmphhh, let's see...

Truth hurts. I am writing this to say out the pain in my neck about our education system which is drawing a bleak future to the Malay race more than other races of Malaysia who have not got the fair share of those special privileges administered by the JPT (Jabatan Pengajian Tinggi).

No matter what the government is doing about the education system and for many years it has put across a system starting with quota and then matriculation and now meritocracy, to me it meant just another dead end that has polarised the Malays as outnumbering other races in the value good only in quantity than in quality. The result is unemployment amongst the Malays in big numbers.

We have a situation that the government we choose is fulfilling their promises by providing the Malays with the Privilege Regimes, but not the future. The point is while you provide the platform for the Malays to take off and fly high, there is no place for the Malays to land, so we have to search for a landing ground and crash-land anywhere we can and hope for the best.

We have a situation now where our politicians are quick to use this as the bullets to shoot back at the Malays for failing to make use of the advantages. Just where are the advantages the Malays have if only few of us did really make the grade to become peers amongst other races who have not the privileges but have proven themselves at far greater pace?

We have a situation where IPTAs are mushrooming and at the same time IPTSs are catching up not to match IPTAs but to surpass them in learning excellence that they are drawing the rich parents the majority which are not Malays. And we know those IPTSs are using English as the medium and we have not heard IPTSs graduates having problem like the IPTAs' that at the end of their study the IPTAs' graduate have to master English for further studies or for job employment.

I don't believe that Malays are less intelligent than other races but I know in education Bahasa Melayu is a much lesser Language of Knowledge and can never be used to improve the Malays in the much needed professional fields. If the professional Malays are good in their command of English, the Malays too may one day be employed out of Malaysia and that is a real advantage to say the least.

I have a vision that if our learning medium is English, we can have a true Malaysian legacy of education system without class or strata where the future generation of Malays and other races of Malaysia no longer talk about issue of privileges but working together to generate world class citizens by using and mastering that single language of education.

I abhor the present ideals of patriotism and nationalism in the guise of schools segregated as Sekolah Kebangsaan and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan which to me are reinforcing the failure of our education system.

We have to sacrifice our ideals for the sake of our future Malaysian school going generations. We cannot afford to keep quarelling on privileges that the Malays have actually not reaped the fruits instead have been reduced to a lesser race by the non-Malays and even by international communities with many writings by them in describing the Malays with a very specific peculiarity.

The Malay race is not racing with other races of Malaysians to live in Malaysia. We should build a Malaysian race to race with other nations of the world to achieve the vision 2020 of one developed nation. If only the Malay race is Gemilang, Cemerlang and Terbilang and only in Malaysia then the Malays are just a frog living in a coconut shell. Rebbit!

Do Women Outlive Men?

Jam packed with all complications I was experiencing with blogger.com, I almost forgot to address here that Sharil's wife; an office mate of mine - has safely given birth to a baby boy last Saturday. Ida also sms me last night which sounded like :-

"Ida dah bsalin kat ampang puteri 5.50pm. baby boy 3.58kg"

I was like, 'Alhamdulillah' when I read the sms. Out of a sudden I went,... 'Baby boy...?' Gosh. I think the male population is trying to catching up with the females despite the ratio. A report from the Census Bureau shows that, since 1990, the number of males in the state has grown faster than the number of females - but men are still outnumbered. Scary huh? Really... women still outlive men.

Hmppph... I wonder what's my 5-months-pregant child's gonna be? Boy or girl?

Haha, talking about pregnant, I remember one incident which I'm about to tell you here. After my wife and I found out we were expecting our first child, we went to a Japanese restaurant to celebrate. Her fortune cookie read,

"What you do in private will soon be made public"

Damn, is that psychic or what?!

And yeah, having this chance, I'd like to give a shoutout to my sister, Farah back in KB with the message, Congratulations for earning a spot in UPM! May all your dreams come true sis...

Happenings :-
1. FC Porto trashed Monaco 3-0 in last nite's Champions League Final. Mourinho leaving Porto?
2. Houllier is no longer at Anfield. Where will Owen's & Gerard go?
3. More trials news on Noritta (the list goes on, and so does the humiliation! Sad but True!!!)

First & foremost, I'd like to apologize to everyone for the inconvenience in accessing my blog yesterday. I guess a few blog users are experiencing the same problem and as a matter of fact, I did write to them yesterday. Good thing is, they replied, which sounds smtg like this :-

Hi there,
BlogSpot is currently returning 404 errors when blogs are accessed with addresses beginning with 'www'. We are working on getting this fixed, but in the meantime, if you remove the 'www' everything should work normally. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Blogger Support

I guess they will sort things out soon. AND hey, as I speak, the problem is already solved. The only thing is that, I can't access my hostima.net to upload my photos and stuffs. Great huh? Write an email to hostima.net?...

Birdies In My Blog!

Haha, hi everyone! I hope you guys had a great weekend :) Mine was jam packed, as usual. The weather wasn't treating me too good back @ my in-laws' though! Was sweating all over. Must be the green house effect thing. Talking about green house, just can't wait for The Day After Tomorrow, premiering to theatres near you on May 27th. Better watch that out mate!

Here's a brain teaser. Take a close look at the two birds in this picture. Examine them closely, watch their habits, study the subtle differences in their behavior, and take notes if necessary. See if you can tell which bird is the male and which one is the female. Take it from me, it can be done, even by a novice with virtually no skills in bird watching. Good luck people!

Can't Get Enough Of Nick Berg?!

Here's the fwd email I promised to publish in my blog today. It's kinda long so, take ur time reading okeh? Signing off for the weekend! Take care!

All praise is due to Allah and may His peace and blessing be on the Rasul.

When I watched the video clip of the beheading, I had a strong feeling that it does not look real.

This feeling is derived from my yearly experience of killing animal during Eid- kabir. Often several minutes after killing the ram, blood would be gushing out from the neck of the animal. In this case, when the guy raised the severed head, no blood was gushing out , it was dry.

Secondly, if you look closely on the floor, no apparent blood was flowing on it. This feeling was later confirmed by the mails I received from a yahoogroup that I have subscribed to.

My conclusion is that the American soldiers killed their fellow country man to wipe up hatred towards the Iraqi and to justify their continuos stay in the country.

To cover up this nefarious act , they have to come up with a phantom video clip. However, God is not always on the side of the wicked and oppressor, hence the glaring defects in the video clip.

We should not be surprised that they can go to the extent of killing their fellow country man, since the few Americans war monger and capitalists have used thousands of their soldiers to defend their agenda in Iraq. " So to the American, the end justify the means".

Fishy Circumstances and Flawed Timelines Surround American's Beheading 15 Reasons why the execution was not done by Iraqis:
1) Berg's last known whereabouts was in U.S. custody.
2) Berg shown in video wearing orange jumpsuit known to be of U.S. issue (compare with pictures at Guantanamo).
3) Extremely convenient "wag the dog" timing at the height of furor regarding U.S. torture of Iraqis
4) CNN poll question: "Is the Berg killing a reason for withholding any remaining Iraq prisoner abuse pictures?" Bush has been reported to be struggling with question of whether Pentagon should release additional torture photos. Given that the alleged decapitation of Berg was allegedly prompted by the first wave of torture photos, Bush could now cite "national security" issues for witholding additional materials.
5) Berg mysteriously captured by Al-Quaeda (still wearing jumpsuit). Either he escaped from U.S. captors or U.S. let him out -- with orange suit and all -- to be immediately apprehended by Al-Quaeda (before he had a chance to change).
6) Tape obviously spliced together and heavily edited. Goes from :-
a) Berg sitting in chair talking about family, to
b) Berg sitting on floor with hooded "militants" behind, to
c) blurry camera movement, to
d) almost motionless Berg on floor as head cut off.

7) Audio clearly dubbed in.

8) "Arab" reader flips through pages of "statement" and keeps ending up on the same page. Perhaps doesn't even known enough Arabic to recognize what page he's on?

9) "Arabs" have lily-white hands and (other exposed) skin.

10) "Arabs" have Western-style body posture and mannerisms.

11) When Berg decapitated, there was almost no blood. If Berg were still alive at this point, with the cut starting at front of throat, blood would have been spraying everywhere. Berg's severed head, the floor, Berg's clothes, and even the hand of the "Arab" who decapitated Berg had no visible blood on it.

12) Berg's body didn't move while on the ground. Although held down, Berg would have tried to instinctively wiggle and writhe away from captor's grip.

13) Camera angle made it impossible to see if Berg's eyes were even open.

14) Alleged "scream" from Berg sounded to be that of a woman and was clearly dubbed in.

15) Berg goes to great trouble to identify himself, providing information about his family. Why? To elicit greater sympathy? Or to provide a positive ID. FBI visited Berg family in an attempt to "verify his identity". Guy in video looks very little like Berg photos provided by family.

They said in the news that Nicholas berg was killed 2 weeks ago, however in the video the culprits who killed him said they were "avenging iraqi prisoner abuse" but those photos weren't released until last week, so my question is how is that even a possible motive if he was killed prior to the abuse photos being released?

The picture the media is now showing of the guy the terrorist beheaded as revenge for what went on in the Iraqi prisons looks odd to me. If you look at the men dressed in black, they all seem well fed. Actually most look fat. That bothers me, because these guys are fighting a war and eating on the run. They are constantly on the move and should be either very fit and trim or scrawny and malnourished because of the same reasons. One thing they should not be is fat like couch potatoes. If you look at all of the photos of the prisoners who were naked who supposedly were just plucked of the street, most of them are thin.

With several news outlets reporting that Berg's family is angry from the US government over their son's violent death and revelations that "Berg was detained by Iraqi police at a checkpoint in Mosul on March 24. He was turned over to U.S. officials and detained for 13 days" (in other words, he was detained by the US military just prior to his death

Jeff Rense has compiled some important information on Berg's detainment and questioning what really happened in his article, "Why Did The US Take Custody Of Nick Berg?"

Two things are for sure:

First, Berg parents feel that their son was abandoned and betrayed by the US Government.
Second: NeoCons have already started to use Nick Berg's murder to justify torture and more war!

PM Talk

Last nite I heard on the news that Sonia Gandhi has said that she humbly declines the post of PM, naming economist Manhoman Singh the next Indian Prime Minister. I think she did something right after all. Sonia knew she could not survive long as so were Gandhi, Nehru, Indira and Rajiv. As for Sonia, she is not to add to the list another Gandhi. She is wise and honest to reject now to avoid splitting the people of India from a dilemma of picking a foreigner no matter how much she wants to be an Indian, the BJP and the Nationalist will always play this sentiment.

I was excited to find out that our Prime Minister Pak Lah, actually; believe it or not, has a blog on his own. If that thrills you, then how about Bush's Blog? Haha, check it out people!

Happenings :-
1) Valencia won the UEFA Cup, beating Marseille 2-0 seeing Fabien Barthez sent off after a foul on Mista. Poor chap! Haha...
2) Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra bid for a 30 percent stake in Anfield's Liverpool.
3) Received a mail from a friend regarding the latest info on Nick Berg's beheading. I'll update on that tomorrow.
4) Today's my father-in-law's birthday. Selamat Hari Jadi Ayah. Jasamu ku kenang... haha... Bodek ehhh...
Rite guys, gotta get back to work!

'Acid Was Ere!'

I remember that quote which was most-famous during my school days. We used to write it on the walls in our dormitory, engrave it on the tables in our class, text books, trees and hey, you know the drill! And I remembered how we got our wardens so pissed about it! They was like, "What the ...!!!". Apparently after our SPM exam ended, the thoughts of leaving our hostel & school that was like our second home, made us becoming more and more obsessed of the 'WAS ERE' or even 'WUZ ERE' thing.

As for me, today I kinda left that quote somewhere in Tanjung Malim; the place where my wife grew up. I went there with Honey to accompany my in-laws to their old hometown - the place they call 'kampung' (Nice huh?). Had a great time actually, having the chance to meet the folks and at the same time visit places my baby once lived. Her school, kindergarten, playgrounds places they hang out and all. Talking about memories...

I also had the time to meet my mother in-law's teacher! Gosh, it was almost suprising to find that her teacher still remember her after all this while. He is 66 years old now and still looking alive as never before. When I asked my mother-in-law, she told me that most of her teachers still DO remember their students. Not because of the fact of them being famous in school or stuff but maybe that's how sincere old-days-teachers were. During those days, teachers were like dads and moms to them.

Damn, I doubt that my warden still remember me even he once smacked me in the face for skipping my prep!

The Love of My Life

Since I'm pretty much in the "Love Is In The Air" mood today... here, I upload a photo of my dear wife, Honey; a reason to keep my eyes on the net all day long! A reason to go home early from work as well! ( Since when do i need reason to surf the net anyway? )

I am in love with two,
from neither of them shall I part,
for one is my mother,
god bless her and love her,

the other is my sweetheart,
now; my wife,
god give her strength and protect her,
Amin...

Love you so much baby!

Me, Myself & I

Haha, so, what should I write today people? This monday blues is kickin' me in the ass! Kickin' me so damn hard that it was almost impossible to wake up from bed this morning. So, that explains why I wasn't in the office until 11:30 just now Yan! Masuk2, terus pi jumpa my immediate boss & division boss and make them confuse with half dozens of questions I knew both of them couldn't answer. Well, just to make me look good. Reputasi kena jaga what? Well, looks like I'll just laze around in front of this laptop for about an hour and I'm off for lunch. Damn, talkin' about gaji buta!!! Good news is, a friend of mine forwaded me a splendid version of the Nick Berg's clip and I have to say, without any buffering. Drop me a tag and I'll mail it you guys, that is; if you're really in the idea of this whole gross thing.

Happenings :-
1) China defeated Denmark 3-1 to win the Thomas Cup last nite
2) Arsenal retained their unbeaten record with a victory over Leicester City, 2-1; going through an entire league campaign unbeaten

5) Italian born-Sonia Gandhi became the next Prime Minister of India

Uniten, Here I Come!

Still couldn't think of anything to write in my blog today. Have to go to Uniten to settle some stuffs. If I remembered clearly, it's been two years since I last went to Uniten. During my convocation if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully my ex-lecturers are free for lunch. By the way, before that I would like to welcome fashah and my aunt, Su Tee to my blog.

Hey, maybe I'll write something in here when I get back then. Gotta run, take care people!

P/S: Damn, the Nick Berg's clip is really gross!

to be continued...

I'M BACK! Talking about the Nick Berg clip, ( not sure if you can still have access to it or not. Even if you can, it buffers like forever like nobody's business! ) not that this surprises me, but the Bush administration - very likely enjoying a great deal of relief--has been using the death of civilian Nick Berg in Iraq to its greatest advantage.

In recent days everyone was focused sharply on the administration concerning the growing Abu Ghraib scandal, with harsh criticism hitting them from every direction. But then, yesterday, when the news came out that there was a videotape of the beheading of American Nick Berg at the hands of an apparent al Qaeda group, administration officials likely high-fived each other: they had a possible 'out.'

Nice one George! You didn't expect us to fall for that did you?
Have a good weekend people!

Still In The Blues - The History Revisited

I guess I'm still very much in yesterday's blues. So, bear with me. I guess maybe I'll just speak my heart out and see what happens. Ouch, touchin... ( the sensitive side of me, you can say! )

The exceptional woman was much more than a grandmother to myself, my sister, brothers and cousins; much more than a parent to my mother and aunts and uncles; much more than a friend to those whose lives she touched.

Having at least partly raised me - and all of her grandchildren for we loved spending as much time as possible at Grandma's - oftentimes she represented the role and offered the guidance and support of a mother, as well. She had the rare quality of always being much more than a relative; an open way of relating to us which also made her a best friend.

Known as "Mek" to most who knew her, this special soul was one-in-a-million.

Most of us tend to wax and wane between enjoying life and complaining about its negative points. Mek was never one of these people. I am hard pressed to remember any time when she was not in a good mood - laughing, smiling, joking and carefree. She loved life so that even in the final hours of her illness she clung to it tenaciously. We who loved her just wanted to see her finally find peace.

I so desperately wanted to be there for her, holding her hand, at her final moment. I missed this by couple of hours - my brother called me and said she had passed away right as I was on my way to the airport with my sister. I became angry on the way down there. I swore aloud. I questioned God's decision. I hated myself for those several minutes driving down there - if only I had book my flight a few hours earlier. When I told my aunt about this afterward, she consoled me by saying, "she probably didn't want you to see those final moments." I then realized that she was undoubtedly right about this.

This is part of how Mek was: she would always endure so that someone else would have to endure less in whatever it was they were going through.

Again, she was one-in-a-million.

As a child, Mek taught me about Allah and morality among many other things. She taught me the ways of wisdom, which at many times throughout my life have been an irreplaceable asset to me - an advantage often far beyond those of my peers - one which they did not share. Even in the sadness of her passing, she has taught me one last lesson: there is most certainly an afterlife of paradise. It was evident upon her face.

Although you had gone from us and my innate human tendency toward my own selfishness of how that made me feel had made me so angry with life on my way over there, when I saw you I knew that - despite how much we would all grieve - despite how we would all now have a hole in our hearts with someone so precious to us leaving us forever - Allah had indeed intervened at the moment when he'd felt it best to.

We have always loved you very deeply - and we always will. The memories of you will be with us forever. I'm sure that they will be with all others whose lives you touched, as well.

When my own time comes - as it does and will for us all - whether it be tomorrow, next year, or fifty years from now, with every shred of the very fabric of my being I will still be able to say - with their utmost meaning - these words with which we now part as I and all of your other loved ones lay you to final rest:

"Granma, this blog is dedicated to you. God Bless You Forever"
Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin...

TODAY IN HISTORY - 2 Years Back

Last nite when me & Honey was watching the TV while having our dinner, I saw an add on Mother's Day. Later did I realized that today it's been 2 years since my late granma passed away : May 12th, 2002. Came to realise that since it was somewhere in Mother's Day did she got really sick and passed away 2 years back. God, it's been 2 years? 2 years that felt soooo long.

An Al-Fatihah SMS from Aunt SuTee reminding me of my granny's death even triggered me to find a photo of allahyarham to put in this blog. My Aunt must have missed her a lot. We all do! Moga Allah menempatkan beliau di kalangan hamba2Nya yang bertakwa, Amin. May god bless her always - Al Fatihah.

Photo taken in Dec 30th, 2000 - Amin, thanx for the photo!

It's Only Wednesday and I'm Already Waiting For The Weekend? Damn!

It must be quite sometime since I last updated my blog since I only notice that blogger.com has changed its appearance a bit. More user friendly I guess. I also noticed that some of the pictures that I linked from my hostima site cannot be viewed. Damn, I wonder why. Have to ask yanz for that since she's the more otai one regarding this blog shit.

Last night, I've made the decision to take the plunge into the wonderful world of DVD! After tired listening to all those ooohhhs and aaahhhhs that Yanz & ModD had for their DVDs and stuffs - I've decided that I want a DVD player.
Damn it guys!

The last time I had craze for DVD was like last year. But then somehow, the whole idea just smoked away. I've gone to a few retailers, listened to their respective spiels, and came back with head full of terms that I don't understand and facts that I am unsure of. I am confused and bewildered and don't know where to turn to for impartial advice. I guess I can count on Yanz & ModD on this.

The thing is, I keep hearing my buddies & cusz telling me that for DVD player, don't go for branded ones as they tend to get proper **ck up a moment or two after you play all those pirated DVDs. Unless you're playing the original DVDs, of course. I mean, who's insane enough to buy completely original DVDs for god sake. It's gonna cost a bomb! I wish someone would tell me how to go about it. Hehe, always thinking of the easy way out. The old, lazy me.

WORK, WORK, WORK

Dunno what to think. Suddenly this topic kinda come to my head. This maybe stupid to few, but I ain't give a damn. I mean, what is it with people and work? Why do people work? Money? Fame? Power?

People work for many reasons, but it is usually found that people say they work to bring personal meaning and satisfaction to their lives, as well as benefits to the society around them. Humans have a need to work, to do, and to gain some identity through that process.

Certainly, the primary reason for work is survival. During pre-historic times work literally meant survival - if the cave man did not hunt, his family did not eat. Today people still work, but the connection to survival is less direct. People work for money that they use to fulfill basic needs like food, shelter, etc.

Here's some point :-

1. People Work to Define Themselves
Ask people who they are and they will respond with their occupation: "I'm a mechanic," "I'm a teacher," I'm a firefighter." Being able to provide a job title or list of accomplishments makes us feel more real to ourselves and others.

2. People Work to Have a Sense of Security
Many people find it difficult to get all the love or approval they need from their relationships with friends and family. For them, work can be a constant source of security and pleasure.

3. People Work for Self-Respect, or to Feel Competent and Powerful
It is not easy to feel powerful in this world. Some people will always be more powerful than you. Discrimination in the workplace can leave people feeling powerless. But doing a particular job well gives a worker a sense of control and responsibility that adds greatly to his or her self-respect.

4. People Work to Conquer Time
One way we can "conquer" time is to fill each day with achievements and accomplishments. Over time, we see these experiences as a lasting part of what we see ourselves to be.

5. People Work to Measure Their Self-Worth
Working is one way of "keeping score," of seeing how we measure up in comparison to others. Who is the most accomplished? Who got the award or promotion? Who earned the self-respect of the group? Who makes the most money? These are all ways to measure our self-worth. We feel better about ourselves when we succeed at a difficult task than we do when we do something easy.

In the final analysis, Job satisfaction comes from within! You are the final judge of your own achievement. Whether you make a fortune, or just a living, is less important than knowing that you made a contribution, and that you did your job well.

Gosh, that was something wasn't it? I thought that piece of shit would be just a piece of crap... at least, it turn out to be something. That's good enough for me. :))

Mood: Monday Blues

A bit off today.. it's monday right? Everyone seems to be still sleeping though. But the good thing for me today is that half the day I'll be in KL discussing about the spec for a tender that my company joined last month. At least, I won't be in the office that long! And yeah, MDC's Arsenal won big against Chelsea last Saturday. 9-1!!! That's music to my ears...The real arsenal on the other hand, had remained their unbeaten record with one more game against Leicester this May 15th, to finish the EPL league with style.

Haha, cheers people! ...Be rite back!

continue...
Running late again, gotta go. Got an appointment @ Damansara in 20 minutes. Sigh, still got some stuff to write actually, don't know if I'll remember them the next time I get to log on. Too bad I don't have regular access to the net at home. Oh well...

Saturday Dilemma

Today MDC's Arsenal FC will have a friendly game against Chelsea. Too bad I won't be playing since I'll be heading to Kuantan for old Sam's wedding. Actually it's kinda frustrating. I mean, I was really looking forward for the game. A good time to meet all the chatters in MDC especially Demoguano, Lisya, fauzi and the rest of the gang. Just felt like there's a chemistry goin on with these guys. You know the feeling! On the other hand, I don't fancy missing my buddy's wedding as well! The guy came all the way from Kuantan to personally hand me his wedding reception. Now, that really is something...

Hopefully MDC's chaps would be fine without me! I'm not that good after all, for crying out loud. It's been like what since I last actively kicked a ball? 2, 3 years?... Arghhh, gotta settle some stuffs people. Be rite back.

To be continued...

Surprise, surprise!

A cousin of mine, Faizal, is getting engaged this weekend. The news came out as a huge surprise for me, and of course, the whole family. I've always had the aura that he'd be next in the family to get married, but never really thought that it would be this soon. Well, not that he's getting married anytime soon, but he's half way there. He must have absorbed huge amount of "berkat" during my wedding last year. Hahaha... members of my family said that Faizal got 'terjangkit' from me. ;)

When my aunt broke the news (which was just 2 days ago) that he is getting engaged, I got really excited. I mean, really excited, that the thought of flying off to Sabah to witness the ceremony popped out of my head almost immediately. Unfortunately, super-saver flight tickets to Sabah are all fully booked, so I'm just gonna have to wait until the ceremony is over and let my aunt tell me all about it. Damn.

I was so happy about the news, I told another cousin about the news instantly.

Me : Have you heard? Jal's getting engaged this weekend!

Icam : Whereee..?

Me : In KK, of course

Icam : Are you going? Damn, wassup with my gang cousin ni?? Semua settling down!

See..? Even he didnt know about it. But we're all so happy that he's getting engaged. He's been with the same girl for years now, so I think it's time for them to move on to the next phase of life. Plus, from now on I will not be the only one to be blamed on putting the pressures on the rest of my cousins! ( on my pals as well, for that matter! )

So happy for you, cuz! Hani & me will not be there, but our prayers will!

The Bitter Shack Of Resentment!

Damn, this is UNDATED photographs of a hooded and wired Iraqi prisoner and a pyramid of naked Iraqi prisoners with American soldiers behind them . Proof of the alledged abuse scandal at the Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad.

The United States is using the prison at Abu Ghraib, Iraq, to hold prisoners of war. It is a famous prison - this is where the rape rooms supposedly were. Lately, a CD of photographs taken by some of the soldiers assigned to guard the prisoners held therein has been circulating. One troop gets it, makes a few copies and sends them around. You know the deal!

Fortunately, one of the recipients realized what he had here was evidence of very serious war crimes and turned it in to the post Criminal Investigative Division office...and the shit started rolling. At the current time, the commander of the prison system in Iraq, and the eight American soldiers running Abu Ghraib prison, are scheduled to be court-martialed.

Okay, check this shit out : Islam is very specific about people being in rooms with members of the opposite sex. And here's this female American, almost definitely not of the Islamic faith, standing there with her arm wrapped around a male soldier while this big bunch of naked Muslim men are arranged in a pile at their feet. There are others. I won't say more. They're disgusting.

This stupid bitch should be stripped, tied up and pictures should be taken of her. This woman if she can be called that, should spend a long time in an Iraq jail. What an asshole!!!

And the pictures, apparently, can be found on American porn websites. Which is even worse!

I bet the Arabs are pissed, I'm here to tell ya that I would not want to be an American soldier in the Iraq theater right now - if one of them gets captured, the shit Saddam is supposed to have done to his houseguests will look like High Tea with the Queen compared to what the Iraqis will do to them.

Being electrocuted, beaten and hung from the ceiling with hands tied behind their back or even the famous Nippon's potong kepala is better than the humiliation of being stripped naked like this. No one would want their manhood to be shattered. Such an insult.

How about this one? Talk about human rights. Dare give your views?

22 Weeks

Accompanied Honey to get her monthly pregant check up. Alhamdulillah, semua okay. It's just that the doctor adviced her to take all the pills and Obimins and drink a lot of water too. There's a myth about consuming vitamin for pregnant mothers. They say that too many vitamins would produce big-sized babies. Haha, dunno... not much of a believer myself.

The doctor also said that Honey may sooner or later have an increased appetite, as the mother is eating for both herself and her developing child. Looks like we have to cook more dear, our baby's joining the table!

The RM51 Billion Man? Damn!

I just went "Damn!..." when I read the paper this morning on an article about Chelsea FC's Roman Abramovich. - The richest man in Britain, 6th richest in Europe and 22nd richest in the world. At 35 years old? Damn!...

To date, this guy has invested some 260 milion pounds ( about RM1.77 billion ) of his estimated 7.5 bilion fortune in Chelsea. Believe it or not, Abramovich now has holdings worth more than 5.5 bilion pounds mountain of cash earning him 220, 000 pounds a day in interest!!! I repeat, a day!

Forever without a tie, and given to wearing jeans and sport shirts, Abramovich was forced to moderate his dress when he travelled to Liverpool to watch Chelsea play. No one is allowed into the director's box at Anfield without a tie. When he was told about the rule, he simply borrowed one.

He'll do whatever it takes to fit in here because he has every intention of staying. There are some in Russia who think he's lucky not to be wearing prison clothes, but for the moment the elusive Abramovich - whose favourite sayings include "Do not think that you will never go to jail" - is one bloody step ahead of them.

Despite all those luxuries that everyone would die for, Abramovich is so genuinely terified about kidnap attempts which explains why a guard even escorts his wife to the bathrooms! Damn!!!...

Happy Labor Day to everyone!

A few things are happening :-

1. I won't be updating this website throughout the early May weekend. I'll be giving a hand to my brother in law; helping him to move into his new house in Shah Alam as well as attending some of my fellow SMSAHans' weddings.

2. Updates on this site will be slow next week. Work requires me to be out of the office most of the times; and I'll spend more of my time in the heart of KL meeting people so on and so forth. MYR approacin', that why!

3.Petrol up by 2 cents!

Taken from Malaysiakini:

"The new price of RON97 (unleaded) petrol in the peninsula would be RM1.37 per litre, RON92 petrol RM1.33 per litre while diesel will cost 78.1 sen per litre. The new price of LPG will be RM1.35 per kilo in the peninsula".

Shit! That's gonna cost me costly...
Just what we need to celebrate Labor's Day!...
Bravo to da'goverment! :(

Signing out for the weekend. Have a great one!
