Scrubs!

OVERVIEW : RECELL

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

ReCell is an innovative device that enables a surgeon to apply skin cells, collected from a small sample of the patient's own skin, to an area that needs new cells to ensure appropriate healing, skin texture and skin colour.

ReCell produces a 'Spray on Skin' that contains all of the cells necessary to promote healthy skin growth. The spray has cells to promote healing (keratinocytes) and cells that reintroduce colour in scars or areas of excess whiteness (melanocytes).

ReCell cells are able to rapidly proliferate and migrate within the wound bed to provide an even confluent cell cover across the wound bed that improves healing time.

Replacing 'like with like' tissue ensures optimised outcomes. In an analysis of 29 cases, the use of site matched C3 suspensions in glabrous skin injuries mitigated contractures, fissures and hyperkeratosis. Tissue has a smoother contour, preserved pigmentation and minimised mesh pattern (if applied in combination with mesh skin grafts).

And hey, we get to prove all those resarches and theories in one major, important operation in Pantai Bangsar Medical Centre under an operation that will be lead by Dr. Kuladeva.

Finally, the big day came. This is a major day where the future of our surgical product Clinical Cell Culture - C3 highly depends on. Success means, this is gonna bomb in the market soon. Failure, then we're gonna dig shit!

Venue : Pantai Bangsar Medical Centre's Operation Theatre
Time : 12pm
Case : A chinese-guy with 70% mixed electrical and flame injury mixed partial-thickness and full-thickness injury on the face with swelling left hand.

Thank god, after the long 2-hours operation which seemed like forever, we managed to get things under control. Yeah, I bet you it was gross! Make me feel like I'm in the SCRUBS tv series or something. Must have something to do with my prayer and wishes during my teenagers time. Being so into Doogie Howser MD during those times! (right spidey?) Overall, alhamdulillah. The only complication we had was separating the dermis and epidermis since it was a thick 2x2 biopsy. Apart from that, things kinda went on smoothly. Results will be in one week time. Putting my fingers cross and hoping for superb outcomes! Insya Allah.

Happy Birthday, Dear!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sometimes I get to wondering,
In moments of my life,
How I could get so lucky,
As to have you for my wife.

A woman who is all the things I have been dreaming of,
Who fills my days with laughter,
And fills my live with love ...
A woman who is my dearest friend,
My closest confidante,
A woman who is everything a man could ever want.

So now that it's your special day,
The thing I'd like to do,
Is let you know my greatest joy on earth is loving you.

It's August 15th. To my beloved wife, Honey... Moga Allah Panjangkan Umur & Murahkan Rezeki. Love you with all my heart and soul. Happy Birthday!

"Dad, Can We Go To The Park?" "No Son, Not Now"...

The haze is getting really, really bad. It's worse for us who don't have air-conditioner at home. Hani couldn't do the laundry because it's really bad that everyone can smell the smoke. In time like this, it's easy to get sick. Some would have itchy sensation in the throat, coughing, nose block, red and watery eyes etc. Even if you have a little cough, you'll go like...

"Damn, this is coz of the haze"...

... although when you experience the same during those days, you won't even notice. As I write, I can just feel that polluted air running through my lungs. You'll feel one kind if you're walking down the streets nowadays that you'll start wiping your face and eyes as if there's dust on it or something. Then, you'll get curious and ask youself, is that really dust or my tahi mata for god sake!...

Alhamdulillah, Danish is okay. The only thing is we have to set our fan to the max and close all windows plus the sliding door. We also spent most of the time indoors although I was like dying, craving for pizza when I passed by Pizza Hut yesterday evening from my meeting at Mandarin Oriental. The haze at KLCC was really bad yesterday. So bad that I couldn't see the twin towers. And I was just at Mandarin; next to KLCC! Man, can you imagine that?

Blame the Sumatera again! Damn, it's the same old story every year. Seems to me that Malaysians never learn. The authorities really should do something. All this while we know that Sumatera is the culprit behind all those forest fires. Then there should be like a special arrangement with Indonesia to ensure next year forest fires are handled differently and stuffs.

I've read somewhere that in the US especially California suffers from forest fires every summer. But unlike here, the US Department of Forest and the Fire department are equipped with air tankers aircrafts and helicopters to fight the fires. The forest fires in California burn thousands of acres of brush for crying out loud! But hey, there is no widespread haze over California. The government should make a study trip to California or something, really. Well, yeah... there's nothing we can do to stop the wind. But Asian countries could at least work things out to help the Indonesians to find a new way of farming. Hellooo, this haze thing is becoming an annual event for god sake!

Here's some tips :
Close all windows and doors to your bedroom. Boil a kettle (electric) of water in the room and allow the steam to fill the room. Allow 10 - 15 minutes for the fine water vapor (steam) to collect the pollutants / particles in the air and settle down. After this the room should contain healthier air.

Hmpphhh... any chance of our office to declare public holiday? Hehe...

WORLD!!! : Fenomena Baru?

I was triggered from Mat Dean's previous entry to comment on this so-called phenomena. I agree, a debateable issue it is. We can go on and on about this and to tell you the truth, I won't offense any Mawi fans with my comments since my wife is also a fan of his. But here are some stuffs that I've read across a few days ago.

Kini hati rakyat terubat dengan manusia yang 'dilahirkan' dan 'dibesarkan' daripada alam hiburan. Seorang yang ada nilai agama terpacul dengan gaya yang tersendiri.

Syabas. Bagus. Tahniah. Hebat. Cemerlang. Terbilang. Gemilang. Extravanganza. Penuh aura. Karisma. Ada 'x-factor'. Pakej yang lengkap! Ada mesej dakwah!

Tiada siapa menafikan kehadiran dan kehebatannya.

Sehingga terdengar dicuping telinga. Seorang pendidik menasihati anak muridnya "Jadilah seperti Mawi. Mengaji boleh, menyanyi pun boleh. Ini yang kita hendak. Contohilah dia."

(lagu penyanyi lama)

Dan mengakhiri lagunya sambil menari lantas memandang tepat ke arah wanita yang berdiri di sisinya.

Pandangan Kedua

Dahulu Mawi seorang bilal yang pernah melaung azan sambil berdiri tegak Antara terjemahannya membawa erti "...menuju kejayaan"

Kini Mawi Bilal yang sama menyanyi lagu tema rancangan sambil menari rancak Antara alunannya berbunyi "...menuju puncak".

Pandangan Ketiga

Memetik kata Mawi " ....dia mesti bertudung..."

Dengan petikan itu maka :-
1. Tudung Mawi diberi nama dan laku diniagakan
2. Seorang peserta bukan Islam memakai tudung secara bergurau lantas mengejar Mawi

Comments anyone?
