'Acid Was Ere!'

I remember that quote which was most-famous during my school days. We used to write it on the walls in our dormitory, engrave it on the tables in our class, text books, trees and hey, you know the drill! And I remembered how we got our wardens so pissed about it! They was like, "What the ...!!!". Apparently after our SPM exam ended, the thoughts of leaving our hostel & school that was like our second home, made us becoming more and more obsessed of the 'WAS ERE' or even 'WUZ ERE' thing.

As for me, today I kinda left that quote somewhere in Tanjung Malim; the place where my wife grew up. I went there with Honey to accompany my in-laws to their old hometown - the place they call 'kampung' (Nice huh?). Had a great time actually, having the chance to meet the folks and at the same time visit places my baby once lived. Her school, kindergarten, playgrounds places they hang out and all. Talking about memories...

I also had the time to meet my mother in-law's teacher! Gosh, it was almost suprising to find that her teacher still remember her after all this while. He is 66 years old now and still looking alive as never before. When I asked my mother-in-law, she told me that most of her teachers still DO remember their students. Not because of the fact of them being famous in school or stuff but maybe that's how sincere old-days-teachers were. During those days, teachers were like dads and moms to them.

Damn, I doubt that my warden still remember me even he once smacked me in the face for skipping my prep!
