THE PUNK WHO GOT HITCHED
NOPE! This is not just any ordinary punk. This is the punk-not-dead Punk, The I-know what-I-want-and-I'm-gonna-go-for-it-whether-you-like-it-or-not kinda Punk : Zaki's and my ex-room mate which turned out to be Thina's, Suri's and Wan Zul's ex-hommies as well. Shared lots of laughters and tears... Tears? Hmphh... let me think again and rephrase that. Ok, ok... perhaps not tears (air liur basi can la kot!heh,...)... but lots of ups and downs, I bet. Tul tak Kie? During our kopak IUPUI-UNITEN study years, we went thru heck of a time and plenty of those hard times together till there was once where we had to makan nasik dalam plastik bag? Yeah people, those red or blue plastics you get when you buy your stuffs or groceries and never cared much about; that most of you would just dump it in the garbish bin! The one that orang kelate panggil 'Supek', or 'Supek Rok-rak'. Mummy's serunding, and frozen sambal ikan bilis were our only hope for survival. (Sadis abes!)We also had the chance to eat nasi bungkus dalam polystrene having the polystrene tu cut into two where one would take the upper part and one would take the lower... washed it with soap, rinsed it and let it dry for us to use it again for our next meal or dinner; having no plate whatsoever due to our 'kekopakan' yg teramat dasyat. Sampaikan Suri's girlfriend, Nani who heard about it couldn't help it but felt sorry for us and bought us a plate each. Uwaaaaaa! ( Thank you Nani, if you're reading this! )
That's just to citer a few of those times. I think if you've gone thru such kinda moments with a friend, or even with a girlfriend for that matter, then the bond just gets stronger day by day. Well, yeah... he's a very close friend of ours, indeed. So close that we have to save our budget for raya to pay AirAsia a couple of bucks to get a flight on the day of his wedding, and the next day's night flight home. Plus for me, I had to leave Hani and Danish at my in-law's to board the first flight to KB with Zaki and Thina. And not to forget Thina; being the early one to reach KLIA, boarding the evening flight from KB, ( Biasa la AirAsia... ) got home using the ERL, took a commuter at KL Central to Klang, reached home and after a few hours drove back to KLIA to come and fetch us! Yayyyy... That's how close.
Kepada Mohd Azkari Munif & Nurul Ezah,
Selamat Pengantin Baru dari kami semua dan Selamat Meninggalkan Alam Gersang! Aku rasa aku tau who's next on the list! Hahaha, no surprise there. Tapi takpe, gua sokong. Sesungguhnya bila orang Islam itu berkahwin maka dia telah melengkapkan separuh dari agamanya, Amin.
And yeah Punk, too bad,... wife lu bukan dentist, tp doktor kat surgery, kalu tak she might be a help to your horror teeth-cracking-sound at night! Hahaha... Jadi suami yg baek and make sure you don't ever, ever bagi bini lu and anak2 lu makan dalam 'supek lagi, ever! Just let those memories be a motivation and inspiration to our genes eh?
p/s:
