Loooong Story...
Salam people! Gosh, so many things occured during the last time I wrote in here. I'll try to update at least on the surface of each one of 'em.
-The One Who Didn't Sleep; Danish
Before my outstation, Danish's sleeping patern had really gave us a big knock on the head! He had his normal typo sleep in the afternoons and evenings but when it comes to midnight, he would stay awake and refuse to sleep. And he'll keep on staying awake most of the time until the Subuh azan, and if we were lucky enough, until sahur. His two-round, dreamy eyes were sleepy allright but the little one was like having difficulties to doz off to sleep. As my mom in-law quoted, "Tu la, masa Hani mengandung dulu ayah dia suka sangat tengok bola sampai lewat2 malam. EURO la, UEFA la...". It got worsen sampai we (including my in-laws) hardly had any sleep. Sampai lebam2 mata semua. We tried not to let him sleep too much during day time so that he could sleep at night but it didn't work. We also took the time to meet some wise people (ustaz, imam... etc) for their air tawar and all, fearing it might be because of the 'gangguan' and the rest of those Misteri Nusantara's stuffs but again, it didnt show any sign of improvement. FINALLY, it was the bidan who came with the solution and answer to Danish's behaviour. The little guy actually wanted to feel safe and secure during his night sleep; afraid of the dark kinda thing you san say (And he got that from his mummy!). So, Hani had to let him sleep in her hug. And guess what, he slept like a log! There you have it, experience spoke for itself! Thanks to the otai bidan, we get to have our goodnite sleep back.
-The One Who Stepped Down; KCB
My immediate boss had resigned! An unexpected news to the company since he was among the most hardworking staffs in the company and likeable by many. And now, after nearly 7 good years with Cybron, he'd tendered his resignation. 7 years? Gosh, Danish will be in Standard One by then. Knowing him, it must have been for a better offer. He was supportive and helped me a great deal throughout the years of my career here. Trust me, you don't get to see that kinda attitude a lot in most people. All the best KCB!
-The One With The Broken Arm; My Brother, Fikri
Before my outstation, I've learnt from my mom that my brother, Fikri had broken his left arm during a silat practise with his apprentices few days ago. I took the previlage to visit him during my outstation trip back in my hometown last week and he seems to be coping just fine. And being home especially when it comes to Ramadhan, is sooo damn cool! I get to eat what I've been craving badly ever since the last time I balik kampung - Mom's cooking! Boy, how I miss my mom's cooking! Ayam percik, sup gear box, nyicoh perut( people seldom to know this kinda cooking, i must say... ), tomyam, ikan bakar, daging bakar... just to name a few to top up the list ( adeh, dah start telan air liur dah ni! ). Since I won't be going home for Aidilfitri; considering the fact that Danish is too small to go through the 7-tiring hours drive to KB, the outstation trip was put in superbly good use! Coz I'll give up anything for my mom's cooking y'all! Call me mummy's boy, I don't give a damn!!!... hehe... Thanks mom...
-The Day When The Pantang Ends; Hani's '44' Is Over
There you read it. It's been 44 days already since last week and Hani had completed her pantang. Don't get me wrong, but I'm glad that her 44 days is over. Not because of those what I think you're thinking I'm thinking but because it must have suck being not able to eat what you want to eat not forgetting those DO's & DON'TS in pantang. We'll be back to our crib tomorrow since all this while we were kinda caught up helping our in-laws moving to their new house nearby. Their raya house you can say.
It has been unbelievable quick how time has passed away. It's only a week plus to Aidilfitri and I have to say that this year's Ramadhan has taught me a lot of precious and priceless lesson in aspects of life. Life Is A Lesson, You'll Learn It When You're Through. May god bless us always. Amin.
