31 Weeks
So, what's up with my little fetus this week? Well, our little one is nearly three pounds already and growing. The early laguno is dissapearing, the eyelids open and close, and the toenails are growing. The bone marrow is now responsible for red blood cell production like mine and yours. Didn't I told you that he had started kicking? Look like he is big enough to let loose a swift kick and let mommy and perhaps even daddy know that he is doing well and clamoring for more space! Maybe it was a penalty kick, who knows? Whatever it is, I'm sure my boy here took it lot better than Beckham! Haha... Can't get enough of football huh?
Honey is doing much better so far. A whole lot better than the first and second trimester with no morning sickness, and except for some fatigue and being hungry most of the time, this experience of first-time motherhood has been a total delight. And guess what, she FINALLY got rid of the so-called 'sun-pregnant-allergy' as well! Thank god. The only thing that her gynist told her to take care of is her level of sugar. With diabetic history on her dad's side, she is prone to get it also if not taken care of especially during pregnancy which is, as a matter of fact much more easier to get than those who's not.
Since I have missed the opportunity to blog a few weeks of the pregnancy, when a lot of the truly amazing development happens (remember development from high-school biology? That grainy film of the egg dividing, with the earnest voice over, and the names like zygote, morula, and blastocoel. Well, trust me... it suddenly becomes interesting when it is occuring in someone you truly love!!!), I'll try to post it in the next week or so on in my blog.
Still cramming our heads doing some 'mix & match' for our baby's name. 7 months and 3 weeks? That aint too long considering that the due is in September, insya allah. My mom suggested that we use the initial WFH or WHF for our child, which stands for Fahimi and Hani respectively. Was kind of a good idea actually. I remember my mom telling me that after I was born, my dad wanted to named me, Fahmi. But soon both of my parents especially my mom thought that it was too common during that time. Go and find a book and I'm sure you won't find Fahimi in it. Just plain Fahmi. And yeah, I guess they were right. I love my name! Hopefully, my baby-to-be will love his too!!! Until then, enjoy!
