The government has finally cancelled all new year celebrations out of respect as the nation mourns to the millions victims of the tsunami disaster. Hopefully this kind of sensitivity will continue to bloom in each and everyone of us as we strive for a better nation. God knows how much those fireworks alone will cost ya! Big bucks man...

Undeniably, at this stage the fireworks have already been purchased, stored and transported, people are contracted to set them off, etc. The money has already been spent. However, if we don't use the fireworks this year, they can be stored for a future event or even for next year's NYE event. So, that way, the money saved for the future event (which equals the money spent for the currently planned event) can go to aid. However, I doubt that they will cancel it completely though! Might be rescheduled or postponed whatever. Huh, knowing em!

For those whose gonna 100% cancel it, well, look of it this way. Everyone is impacted by this event one way or another and we do need to focus on the future, rather than the past. We lose some, we win some. Savvy?

God, I can't even bear the look of the sufferings. Berat Mata Memandang, Berat Lagi Bahu Memikul. Tough as it may seem but let's pray that those facing hardship following this aftermath will have the fortitude to overcome their great losses. Amin.

Yesterday was the birthday of one of the greatest people I have in this world. Blessed with 5 sons and a daughter, she gave us everything we need in this life and sacrified a lot of things to raise us ...and for that, we are thankful. For, having her as our mum, is all we can ever ask for. Thanks god.

Yesterday was mummy's 49th birthday.

Happy birthday mum! I know you won't be reading this, but I love you anyway. So, happy birthday, I love you and... I, Honey & Danish will see you this raya! Insya allah...

Hari ni genap 3 bulan umur Danish Haiqal. Cepat kan masa berlalu! Ramai yg tanya, 3 bulan dah? Dah leh meniarap ker? Merangkak? Berjalan?!!!... FYI, blum lagi smua tu. Ada cubaan nak meniarap tapi unsuccessful attempts lor. We'll see in the next couple of days aite?

God, so many work to do. For the past 2 days I was hardly in the office pon. Masuk pon just to sign some stuffs, took smtg and out again! Better get back to work. I guess I'll sign off for the weekend; leaving the latest photos of my 3-months old here. Till then, catch ya guys later!

Weekend baru ni bersamaan dengan 12 Disember berlangsung sudah majlis perkahwinan office mate aku n our fellow blogger, Ayzan dengan suaminya, Amie bertempat di Taman Desa Raya, Hulu Langat. Selamat Pengantin Baru Ayzan & Amie! Semoga berbahagia hingga ke anak cucu.

On another note, below is Danish's MYKid which I kept on forgetting to scan and upload in here. Cool eh? He's only 1 month when he got his IC humber! I mean, I only got mine when I was 12! With it black and white some more... Looks like I can start make Little Danish memorize his own IC number from now on!

I got home last night and Danish was in a foul mood. He was fussy and crying and didn't want to be comforted. Obviously after his shot, the boy has not been sleeping well of late. Either he doesn't feel well, he's getting very hungry every couple of hours or he's having bad dreams. Trouble is, he can't talk yet to tell us his demands, so he just cries. Maybe it was the shot after all. I tried giving him his teat which both of us at first planned on not giving; fearing it might become a habbit. I even put him in his last night's sleeping position. Five minutes later he was fast asleep. He slept for a couple of hours. We woke him up to change his diaper and so that Hani could feed him a little. Then she put on his night clothes and put him to bed. He slept another 10 hours at least, with one short time of wakefulness around 6:30 this morning when he woke up long enough to tell us he was hungry and for Hani to feed him. Hani told me he's been in a pretty good mood all day. I would be too if I got to sleep 16 out of 24 hours!

This morning I asked Hani if I could make a list of things that Danish does that I have a problem with, then when he's older and can understand, show him the list and give him a well-deserved spanking. She laughed. It was very early and it was dark and I was groggy, so I'm not sure if it was a 'my-gosh-you're-brilliant' laugh, or more of a 'good-heavens-you're-an-idiot' laugh. Either way I'm starting the list, just in case. Then she says I'll never spank him, that I'll chicken out,... that I just love our son so much and wouldn't hurt him. Uh huh. What did I say? Nothing, I just laughed. Let her figure out what it meant.

Danish had his triple antigen shot last Tuesday. In case you're wondering, triple antigen (DTP) is a 3 in one vaccine against Diptheria, Tetanus and Whooping Cough. The doctor told us that the shot would make him feel uncomfortable for a day or two and usually after the shot, babies might experience fever. That night Hani noticed that Danish's temperature was a bit high so she took a wet towel and put it on the little guy's forehead.

He was sort of enjoying it at first; with his round eyes starring at us with a confused face. 7 minutes later he was starting to feel uncomfortable and started crying. His two, little hands was trying to reach the towel which is out from his reach. Failling to do so, he cried even louder as if he was trying to tell us, "Pleasssse get it off me mum, please get it off me dad... I promise I'll be goodddd..."

We finally took off the towel from his head and his cry chilled down and turned into little sobs which took kinda long to settle down. His eyes were trying to tell us how uncomfortable it felt with a how-could-you-do-this-to-me kinda look on his little face. Poor guy! Half past three and still the little one couldn't sleep. We tried putting him is his favourite cradle and even his bouncer which he always love sleeping on but to no avail, still fails. Hani was tired so I told her to go to bed first while I took Danish to the living room and carried him in my arms till my two legs were tired. I woke up at 5 only to realize that we were both lying on the sofa. I was too exhausted to notice what time and how he slept. Was just glad he did!

Since I didn't really wrote any entry or anything regarding my wedding last year except for the hantaran photos, ( I didn't give a damn about blogging back then anyway! Blogger what?! )... and since this is the so-called musim mengawan, as my friend, MatNor would address it; with lots of people getting hitched and all; plus in conjunction to my anniversary, let's have a visit to the past shall we? Today is my first wedding anniversary.

No, nothing incredible is planned. Just had the chance to preppare her breakfast this morning while she was in bed with Little Danish, with a short HAPPY ANNIVERSARY note under the plate before I kiss her forehead and drove for work. She stayed up late last night, did the laundries and ironed my one week 5-days work shirt and slacks ( Thanks dear! ). So, I didn't care of waking her up before I left. We've been married for a year, together for nine, and we have a son aged 2 months plus. There isn't really a great chance for romance here. *chuckles*

May Allah shower all His love, protect and be with us till the end... Amin.
