Our good friend plus officemate, Asmadi passed away last night. He was suffering from lung cancer, struggling with the disease for the past two years or so.

He went for a few chemotherapy treatment at UH and critically the company decided to give him his no-pay leave after he had to stay in the hospital undergoing theraphy up and forth for the treatment. He knew that chemotherapy was an uphill struggle. But he faced it with realism, courage, and a firm hope that he would be one of the fortunate ones with his family and all his friends giving him their best support ever. Unfortunately in the end, he was not. Though his fight of survival would be remembered by many especially those fighting cancers and he will be truly and greatly missed by a lot of people.

Before being diognised with cancer and during his earlier chemotheraphy treatment he was a cheerful guy, friendly to everyone around him and devoted to his family and loved ones. We shared a couple of games on the futsal turf and the company trip to Pangkor which has brought us much closer to him.

The last time I saw him was about 2 months ago when I was rushing from the office to an appointment in KL. His hair was bold during that time; indicating the effect of the treatment he was going under, losing a couple of grams in the proccess. His face was also a bit pale and less energetic as he always used to be.

We're all gonna miss you dude, from fellow Cybronians... Liza, Lin, Pakya, Zahid, Cik Lina, Ayzan, Azam, Kak Kimah & etc plus the exs' Zul, Yan, Q, Kak Ian, June, Cikin, Idris & Zaidi. Moga Allah tempatkan beliau di kalangan hamba-hambanya yang beriman, Amin.

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Endon Mahmood passed away at 7.55 am Thursday at the Prime Minister's official residence Seri Perdana Putrajaya, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told Bernama.

Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood is one of the twin daughters born to Dato Mahmood Ambak and Datin Mariam Abdullah on 24 December 1940. She spent her early education years at St. Mary Secondary Girls' School, Kuala Lumpur and was attached to the civil service until she retired in 1976.

Datin Paduka Seri Endon and Dato Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi are blessed with 2 children, Kamaludin and Nori and four grandchildren.

My condolences to Pak Lah and his family for the lost of their most beloved wife, mother and grandmother... May Allah Bless her soul, Al-Fatihah.

UCAPAN : Salam Aidilfitri untuk keluarga di Bukit Raja, Klang. Buat Mama, Ayu dan Fahmi juga buat sanak-saudara dan teman-teman yang mengenali. Tak lupa juga buat Abang Aji, Haji Sani, Mat Rap dan Ali Ji.

Kepada sahabatku Bagong, Qunut, Jibam, Dolohs, Kudup dan Erly di Putrajaya dan tak lupa buat Fahimi, Hani & Danish,... akan ku kirim baju raya dan duit raya dari Switzerland buat kalian semua. Korang lah sahabatku yang sejati. Walaupun jauh di mata tetapi dekat di hati.

Untuk tunang tersayang, abang tak balik beraya tahun ni. Sesungguhnya lagu Allahyarham Sudirman, DARI JAUH KU POHON MAAF membuatkan abang takleh handle nak balik beraya bersama. Selamat Hari Raya dan bersabarlah menanti kepulangan abang.
